Depression put a bet on again or is it my contraceptive pill?

Im on 20mg of citalopram for my depression and have been for 7 months. However im starting to consistency really depressed again, could i be used to my dosage and need a higher one? For former times two months ive been on the contraceptive pill microgynon, so could it just be that that is to say making me feel depressed? Thanx for any answers

Answers:    My understanding is that electric side-effects of birth control pills manifest themselves quickly, but I could be mistaken.

If you've recently stopped have sex, or are having less commonly than you used to, that could explain the change. Research suggests that internal exposure to semen can have an anti-depressant effect on women, and approaching any anti-depressant when you reduce your dosage, so to speak, there could be debt effects..
It could be either one. Anti-depressants often times want to be readjusted, but birth control has been set to cause depression in some women. Discuss this beside your doctor. Your meds will probably be adjusted before they can amount out exactly what the cause is. It could well be the Microgynon, I have mood swings and went off sex so I stopped taking it. :-)
