Answers: Yep - when it first came to the bazaar (god that makes me feel old-fashioned now) I was on it and had one and the same mucous discharge you are talking about. I spoke to my Gynac give or take a few it and he said that it was normal and some woman go and get it and some don't. Just as somem women still get thier periods, some even bleed for the complete time on the injection.
I went to the chemist and got an over the counter thrush treatment to count that out for piece of mind. Use shrunken Liners rather than changing your underwear and wear cotton underwear. Fem Fresh and such products blanket the odour and actually contribute to bacteria if it is already present. Don't use soap, use soap free products such as that Q for sensitive skin or alike if you can. Sap-o-derm is also a apt one for that area.
Also you might need to see if other medication you are on could be increasing mucous production. So Probably still a worthy idea to discuss it with your doctor.

I go and get a slight discharge during the mid- end of my 3months, but it does not smell, but it is annoying my nurse who gives me the thrust says she thinks it is mundane for women to have discharge around their period time so i am assuming it is that!

No, I didn't. Do you still get your period? It could be a standard lamp form of your period, since you probably are not having them. When you move about to get your next shot, ask going on for it. Good luck.
