Contraceptive injection and antibiotics?
Answers: It will not have any effect on your contraceptive efficacy. They just affect the oral contraceptive, and even then the decrease surrounded by contraceptive cover is marginal only..
I'm sorry if this is rambley but I don't understand that. Why does anyone muse that injecting sh.i.t into their bodies to make them stop menstruating completely is the least bit clean? My dad's working on a case (he's a lawyer) against that company because they're getting sued because a bunch of people died on that medication. Yeah it's only crap. You are only covered at the ninety nine per cent effectiveness of the shot, so you could indeed attain pregnant on the shot
You cannot get another injection unless its when you are due for another shot
Antibiotics can affect all hormone base drugs such as depo provera.
Hello there,
Antibiotics does not interfere with any type of hormonal contraception.
The lone things that do, are herbal supplements, e.g St. Johns Wort.
I hope your infection has cleared up and you're feeling better!!
Best wishes!.
It is call Depo Provera and no your antibiotics won't have affected it. Although I must point out 10 weeks is too short a time, they are usually given out between 11 and 13 weeks.
