Can you skip the later week of pills contained by the birth control pack?
I heard that if you skip the pills at the finish off of the pack and just continue on to the white pills that it will force you to skip your extent. In the same way that some of those "seasonal" pills work. Is this true? I'm curious just about Ortho Tri Cyclin
Answers: If you skip the week of sugar pills (or the week of no pills that some packs have) and just verbs on with the first week of your next pack, contained by theory you should skip your period.
The common sense I say "in theory" is because it may not work exactly how you want it to. You may still experience some spotting or bleeding, or if you're lucky you will completely skip it. But after next month if you don't skip it again, you may find it to be heavier or more painful than middle-of-the-road.
Also, you don't want to skip it more than two or three times in a row unless you talk to your doctor first. I would recommend freshly doing it whenever you think it's necessary, and not simply because you don't feel like have your period. No one likes have their period but it's natural and majority, and you should only try to skip it once in a while..
yeah it works, I am on seasonale, but I did cart ortho in the past and skipped my extent for a vacation one summer, nothing happen to me, just had my time of year the next month. You do not even have to pocket those sugar pills anyways, just remember to start your pills the sunday after you start your cycle. Yes that's how you skip your period while on the pill. You shouldn't do it too recurrently especially without speaking to your doctor first.
