I have been on YAZ for in the region of a month. Quick question...sorry I cant find the anwser on the box or in the pamplet. How long do I enjoy to take yaz till the 99% effectivness starts to kick surrounded by so I dont have to use a condom. Yes I know about STDs and pregnancy blah blah. Can someone please freshly anwser my question straight foward without the side crap approaching everyone else does? Thank you!

At this point, since you've been on it an entire cycle, you're covered.

If you were in recent times starting, then it would have depended upon when you started, but regardless, efficacy is achieve at 7 consecutive days.

The seven-day-rule should be followed still whenever you miss two consecutive pills, if you take antibiotics, or any other medication that might cause your pills to fall short.

You can always check with your pharmacist or doctor to breed sure you are not taking any conflicting medications.

And BTW, the 99% efficacy rating is under PERFECT circumstances. In actual life, efficacy is more in the 95% selection. Just so you know.
