So I've been on birth control for almost a year, I take it equal time everyday, and NEVER miss it! But for the first time I had unprotected sex while I was on my seven year (no pill period) week. I've never done that before, I usually use a backup method or just don't enjoy sex, but I did for the first time, am I still protected during those seven days with no pill when your "suppose" to be on your period, My extent is only 3 days long so I wasn't on my period when I did it. I honestly purely forgot, I know that seems irresponsible but I honestly forget. Should I be freaking out or am I covered?

i'm guessing you are on the 21 daylight pill pack, and in those 7 days you are still protected.
if you are on the 28 day pill pack you enjoy 21 active pills and 7 reminder pills that serve no purpose other than to keep hold of your routine of taking the pill every day. even if you dont take those 7 reminder pills you are covered :) hope that help!.

Gal u have evry reason to freak out i expect u should go and c ur doctor that's the only approach u wil know. the moment u miss a day n not take ur pill ur cycle is disturbed thts y i suggest u c ur GP
