I've used the patch. You just stick it onto your skin, like your arm or your wager on, and leave it there for a week. It can catch a little dirty around the edges after a couple of days, but as long as you don't mess with it, it will stay contained by place (peeling it off can be a little self-conscious though). After 7 days you change it, and after you go through 3 patch, you have a week off, which starts your time.The side affects for the patch are about the same as going on the pill. Because the hormones hold to be abosrobed through the skin you are exposed to a higher dose, which increases the risk for blood clots (which can cause a stroke or heart attack). If you smoke, that risk is further increased.
I like the patch because I didn't have to worry in the order of taking a pill every day at the same hour. I own a very busy schedule and I tend to forget things, so it worked out okay for me.

Of course there enjoy been complaints on the severe effects it had on the body, but what doesn't own side effects these days. Anyhow, if you have sensitive skin, becareful because your skin will itch around the patch. Make sure you put it somewhere on your body where on earth you don't want anyone to see it. Some people stupid and might think it's lint and try to peel it off. Also, if it ever comes bad, it's expensive to buy another one. I think they do give you a free one beside a mail in rebate from the assembly. You just stick it on similar to a bandaid. Side effects are about the same. There may be more of a risk for heart problems or blood clots. There is a downside. Just resembling a bandaid, after the first few days, it gets the dirty lent and stuff around it. And yes they do have verbs effects pretty much everything does. Some of the sight effects of the patch is: Cramps & cardiovascular problems [heart]. There was only just a huge recal on the Ortho Evera Patch so consult your doc w/ some questions.
