I am going to a new gynecologist and I have no hypothesis how to ask her for my BC prescription. Do I just straight up ask for it?

Also, do they have to do an exam previously writing a prescription for BC? I get one every year so it's no big deal I'm freshly curious.

And - after the doctor leaves the room am I supposed to leave with them or do I hang around on a nurse? I've seen it done differently at different offices and I've other been sooo confused by that! (Once, a nurse came surrounded by on me waiting and was like, "you're still here!?")

You will enjoy to get an exam to get the prescription. Just report to the new doctor what kind of BC you are currently taking and the doctor will write you a prescription. I've other been confused on when I'm suppose to leave the room. From my experience not a soul ever comes back to the room once the doctor has departed. So I would just walk on up to the desk once you are dressed.

Ok once you progress in they weigh you and have you pee surrounded by a cup. Some also prick your finger to make sure you have a tough level of iron in your blood (no big deal).
Some times until that time you get started they will ask you questions such as "are you sexually active". If this is why you want to be on BC afterwards tell them the truth as well as you would similar to to get started on taking it. Be honest and ask lots of questions. After you draw from dressed your usually done. If your not sure ask "am i all done" before they go off, or ask them what they are going to do so you know it over when the reach the last entity.

Yep, go ahead and ask for it. I'm not sure something like the exam though...I've been on 4 different types, and I didn't need an exam for respectively one (although I did have an exam the 1st time I was prescribed BC). Usually when I budge to an exam the doctor leaves, I get dressed, then come out on my own whenever I"m done and dance see the receptionist to schedule my next appointment. =)
