Answers: Periods are usually irregular when you first take them, but after four years it probably should have regulated by now. Talk to the doctor and they may know how to back. Usually going on the pill regulates your period so you get one every month, so they may proposition this as a solution.
I am sure there is nothing wrong beside you, and you're not "weird". Just because most people become regular doesn't mean adjectives people do. I know it might be scary but in recent times try not to worry and see what the doctor says. Good Luck :).
That happen to a lot of women. If your period irregularity bothers you, you can walk to your doctor and they will prescribe you birth control to regulate it, but it's pretty normal, not way average but there are a LOT of girls who are like that, better than getting your time way more than once a month like oodles girls do. It's totally normal. Most girls' periods are out of whack contained by their teen years. I went months sometimes without seeing mine, and next suddenly it showed up and stuck around for 2 weeks! Once youget to be about 18 or 19 they will regulate more, and once you hit your early 20's you should be fine. If not, you can travel on birth control to help get them regular. .

I had this same problem. My mom would ask the Gyno and she said that nothing be wrong. It wasn't until i was a jr in college until i get it fixed. I got onto birth control!
There are several things that may be wrong, hormones, thyroid, diabetes.
Talk to you doctor about your problem and they can start carrying out tests to see whats wrong!
Mine ended up being diabetes, so I'm still on Birth Control(because i don't want to seize pregnant) and my diabetes drugs. .
You need to go see your doctor. Your doctor may prescribe birth control pills (even though you're not sexually active), because that help to regulate your period. Birth Control can help regulate it.. walk to your doctor and explain that your having irregular periods and you would approaching borth control to regulate it . .
Unfortunately there is just a percentage of us that are never regular our best likelihood is the Birth control pill it seems to be the best for regulating those tricky cycles. I hope I helped :) fitting luck I'm pretty sure this is normal. Usually periods regulate, but sometimes they never do..
it can help yourself to untill your in your late teens or even untimely 20's to become regular. If your really worried i would talk with your mom around it but i think your prolly fine Some people skip months at a time. It may whip awhile before your body finds it's regular flow.
