hi, i had a mirena coil inserted 3 mths ago,since afterwards i have not have a period at adjectives,am constantly bloated,feel dizzy and tired,my moods are adjectives over the place i have also gain weight...i wasnt told any of these things appear..i am having it removed surrounded by 2 weeks and i was wondering if anone know how long it will take for me to draw from back to intuition and being everyday again.thanks x

Answers:    The side effects aren't adjectives THAT common (with the exception of your withdrawal of periods -- this is VERY common), so they wouldn't be down as "average" or "common" side effects. This doesn't mean however that they can't be related to the IUD.

If you're dissatisfied, afterwards you're doing the right thing and have it removed. You should probably feel better in a couple weeks, as long as you're not going to a different hormonal contraceptive. You should probably use a barrier method for a few months till your untaught hormones balance out afterwards investigate other options such as the Nuva Ring or the pill.
