Is it usual to "you know" during a pelvic exam?
Answers: because you wouldn't admit what happend. I have the same experience a few years rear... however, my doctor handled it a bit different... said opps... continued with exam... After, we talk about what be going on in my wedding.. which was nil... I will say I own been going to one and the same dr for over 20 years and trust the man...
Not sure what to say just about your dr... think he be fishing for info about your sex existence...
that is uber odd and AWKWARD! holy moly! i would probably find a new doctor, i would not resembling that experience at all. He doesn't nouns very professional to me...Time to carry a new doctor.
Either hes used to ethnic group reacting that course during a pelvic exam... or (which is most likely) He is a pervert! That is a phenomenal story. I really hope it's true cause it made my evening.
I would be a touch caught off guard if I be the doc. Because I am not so sure that is ordinary. You should have probably tried to bargain to him about it. Was it a sexual entity? Is your doctor a pervert or something?
He probably wasn't laughing; he probably was struggling near awkwardness. And OF COURSE he wanted to discuss this - he's your doctor, and he wishes to know there is no tricky feelings or anything...I suppose. I hope. That is exactly why I don't have a mannish gynecologist. But he was probably a moment ago being friendly.
Eeeeww! You want to report the person to the following: http://www.acog.org/ or http://www.ama-assn.org/ Email them and ask them what to do.
If it really happen the way you enunciate, I'd say it's time to acquire a new doctor. Even if he didn't intend anything tasteless, the fact that you're concerned adequate about it to ask the press is a sign that he isn't doing everything he should do to make patients perceive comfortable and to observe the proper boundaries.
I might even consider reporting him to the medical board for the comment he made roughly your anatomy. I can't see any situation where a comment close to that would be proper or appropriate.
This is not professional..you need to receive a new Dr. and report this one. He sounds close to a prick. Doctors are trained in the proper bedside demeanour. He asked all the right question but the laughter revealed his true humour. I think he be covering his a** when he invited you to talk around it in his department. He wants to sort sure you aren't going to try to sue him and he is covering all his basis. Doctors know how uncomfortable a pelvic exam is. A professional would NOT enjoy been smiling and laughing contained by this manner. His OMG and low vaginal cavity comments confirm his unprofessionalism. I would complain to the head of the practice and find another OB/GYN. Don't make available this guy a second chance!
Wow I am annoyed FOR you just by reading this. A masculine Dr in this corral ESPECIALLY should be sensitive, mature and extremely diligent to be professional. The way he made YOU touch is what is key here and yes, you visibly were violated and should cart action. Otherwise it will lately eat at you.
