Itching is a symptom. Burning upon urination can also be a symptom. If it is bad satisfactory you can get extreme fatigue. Can be cause by different things. Some can get them from bubble baths, wearing too tight jeans, drinking too much coffee, soda, even taking antibiotics can impose yeast infections. Depends on the person. Others can do adjectives the above and not get one. Yeast infections are cause when yeast levels spike and/or beneficial bateria level drop creating an inbalance. Most broad-spectrum antibiotics will cause a yeast infection, but they can also arise on their own. Symptoms are usually vaginal discomfort, and a thickening of the vaginal fluid, sometimes described as looking resembling "cottage cheese" (nasty way to right to be heard it I know, but hey it works). Urinary pain is not typically attributed to yeast infections.
