Does anyone use Paragard?
I am 21, no children, and want something long occupancy, not hormonal, and free of maintenance.
Answers: I get the Paragard in May of 07. I am also 21 and childless. I know that they vote there is a high risk for expulsion if you are childless, but I've had it for almost a year beside no scares or problems as far as that. Just formulate sure to check your strings after your period every month. I really love it. Before I be on the pill, and it made me have no sex drive and I freshly didn't feel angelic. I switched mostly because I was tired of hormones and considered necessary my sex drive back!!
Insertion is the worst module, but only last a few seconds. After that, you may own light spotting for roughly speaking a month. Then, when you have your regular time it may be heavier than it was since. I had that problem for in the order of the first three months, and now my time of year is pretty normal and last about 5 days. I be aware of really great, and I think it be the best birth control decision I ever made. It's also great that it last for 9 years. Good luck deciding, hope I be of some help!
I have it for like 5 months, and adjectives I did was bleed. Not one single afternoon did I stop bleeding. It was awful, and so be the cramps. Finally I just contracted to take it out. mine fell out!! and i get pregnant!! and had a miscarriage. in good health i say fell out but it be more like sooner or later the strings that are attached were bearing lower then they should own been and i give it a pull and it be out.
I'm not sure why all4oldc... got a thumbs down. My experience next to Paraguard was particularly similar to hers. But everyone is different. For me, the pros definitely out weigh the cons. From what I've found out researching the Paraguard earlier I had mine inserted it seem to be one of those things that you either love or despise. I love it. So based on personal experience I would unambiguously recommend it as long you understand that near are some minor risks involved including the possibility that your body won't handle the device okay and you'll be miserable. But overall...good model. Talk to your doctor just contained by case but I ruminate it's one of the best options available. I am totally sorry ,I hold no answer for this question , but if I be female and it hurt that much and the bleeding second that long. I would say heck no. near are a lot of other products out near that does not hurt. use them. lots of luck.
