My husband and I had sex yesterday afternoon. Last hours of darkness I took my (friday night) birth control pill on time (11:30pm). I come down with the stomach flu second night, and be throwing up and having diarrhea around 1am or so. I threw up adjectives night until around 7am this morning. I am not getting sick anymore, and I a moment ago took my Saturday night pill. Do you devise there is a luck of getting pregnant since I did have the unprotected sex, and next possibly threw up my pill? (since sperm can live in the body for awhile) Or do you reflect on my pill already absorbed into my system by the time I be sick. Thanks in mortgage!

Answers:    I wouldn't be too worried about it since it usually take awhile for th pill to run out of your system. It only get worrisome if you're sick for several days in a row. That's what my doctor told my anyway. :) Hope everything works out for you!
