Menstruation has zilch to do with your hymen. If I remember correctly, the hymen is a shrunken membranous layer of skin specifically located at the vaginal opening. Depending on the size of the hymen ( they do, vary) it is possible to own it remain intact until something large satisfactory (such as a penis) is inserted to tear it. A lot of women own long lost their hymen prior to any sexual activity from sports, riding bicycles and other rigorous entertainment..
