Birth control pill, and moods?
My mum thinks that when I own to go and sort out a repeat prescription I should ask to be put on a different sort because she think its making me moody (angry, and upset for nothing)
But, Im 16, and I know a lot of population my age are moody anyway, I hate doctors and would find it easier to stick next to what I already have. But the first month, and so far contained by this third month I have feel quite upset for nil.
What should I do?
Answers: Call your doctor, and ask about a low dose pill. Like, ortho trycyclen lo, or anything next to a low dose. I liked Yasmin too, it be a great pill, and the mood swings were much more underneath control. AT your age, you will have a concrete time finding a BC pill that won't make you moody, becuase of the crappy hormone entity. but, hang surrounded by there. Most women do own to switch brands occasionally, for various reason, but this is one of the most common reason. Whatever you do, don't take Depo... sure, it's easier, but the mood swings are HORRIBLE. (Been here. scared to ruminate about it!! lol) Again, ask your DR going on for a low dose pill, and youll be surprised how much better you feel. ;)
Good luck!
You don't hold to go rear legs to the doctor, you should be able to basically call the doctors organization and ask them to call you contained by a different one. You wouldn't need to move about in for another exam or anything. That would be ridiculous.
Or notify your mom you want to stick with the one you get, but if you think it's making you conduct yourself differently I'd suggest trying another pill that might work better for you.
I'd suggest to try "Yaz", it has be a good one for me and several those I know. However. you are describing normal side effects so in attendance is a possibility that you might experience the same things beside different brands.
You can research different birth control brands online... read reviews from people who own taken them.
first, i hop your on it because of periods or something close to that...if your on it for sex...why so young.youll appendage up with a child and messed up somewhere...chill out Man surrounded by the first place you should not be having sex at a young-looking age like that its approaching u expect people to put in the picture u this.but birth control pills are filled next to hormones that change your moods approaching crazy so switch to not having sex or another pill
Birth control will generate you a little nutty. I be doing the pill then switched to the patch. I would cry out of the blue. It be weird. I thought it be all surrounded by my head. But permit me tell you, I be one mean "troll" Being younger individual exacerbates this problem.
Talk to your GYN about other possibilities.
I enjoy had matching problem with birth control pills, some of them only just make you more moody and irratable. I be taking orthotricylin for a two years and then changed to a different one and everyone around me, including myself notice a huge change contained by my mood. Sometimes it just depends on the type of perscription, if you are taking a generic book, try the the original performance. Also, I am thinking about taking Yaz, it is the just birth control pill that has proven to hold positive affects on those kinds of symptoms as powerfully as bloating and menstrual breakouts. I know going to the doctor sucks, especially the gyno, but I'm sure it would help. http://www.wdxcyber.com/ncontr13.htm say to try a pill with a lower progestin content for moodiness. My gyno said monophasic pills are better for those beside mood swings, so the monophasic ones in the enumerate of pills they recommend are: Alesse, Brevicon, Levlite, Modicon, and Ovcon-35. Alesse and Levlite have the lowest doses of estrogen, so you might try one of those first.
It can pocket a while to find the right pill for you, but your doctor should help you find one. Good luck.
