Answers: here's my counsel.go beside the epidural. Yes, I realize that not all women enjoy this option because of an assortment of circumstances, but if it's possible in your covering (in the future) GO FOR IT. My labor was so pleasant and restful!! I was glowing and energized, and I didn't feel one lick of spasm. I was competent to experience childbirth with the trauma. I could discern my daughter coming out, I was competent to push, but it just feel like pressure...
i didnt consistency anything but the first few contractions they hurt but once i got my epidural(the best invention ever) it be so easy i didnt quality anything and best of all the epidural be painless also but afterward is when it dont feel too great because ur valid sore but it doesnt last long. I loved giving birth so much im pregnant again, i would do it a thousand times if i could. I be NOT prepared for the pain. I feel like a foot puppet...LOL! people sticking their hand up me to feel how various cm's i was. that sucked!
for me, the contractions be really bad. i have to be induced 6 days early because of soaring blood pressure that wouldn't come down. i hear that contractions with pitocin are horrible! they would start contained by my lower back and i feel like i have to pee. after a while, i was close to, ok, i have to pee...no dawdle, a contraction is coming! they were SOOO uncomfortable! OMG! then, my obverse & arms went prickly & numb and i have to have an oxygen covering. they think i have a reaction to the pitocin. my daughter did too. she would drop into the birth conduit after each contraction & next her heart rate would get really low. it be sooo scary! at 7 cm, they give me the epidural. i wanted to KISS that guy! LOLOL! after that i never feel another contraction. WHOO HOO! and when i was pushing, i didn't touch anything but a little pressure, close to taking a big poop.
i only own one child, so i can't compare. maybe dh & i will hold another one soon...but for now...
the worst part of the pack was the low hindmost labor, and the contractions.
but ya know something? i wouldn't trade it for the world! looking back on it, 22 months following, you really DON'T remember the pain. and my daughter...omg, i'm sooo contained by love with her! it's SOOOO worth it! i'd do it again!
