Answers:    The rectal exam is not in place of the pelvic exam; it's part of the pack of it.

One purpose of the pelvic exam is to feel for nonstandard growths.Even virgins can get growths on their uterus, or cysts on their ovaries. These problems come near physical maturity, not sexual leisure.

The doctor will feel for these growths by pressing down on the tummy. But that only allows him to surface one side of these organs. The only path the back of the uterus can be feel is through the rectum.

That part of it take maybe ten second, it doesn't hurt, and you don't even have to loose change positions. Like the rest of the examination, it feel cold and wet because of adjectives the lubricating gel they use. But it is not a major ordeal.
I hold never heard of that. Do you hold some sort of issue with your rectum, similar to hemorrhoids, or a family history of faultless colon issues? How old are you?

My doctor other told me that rectal exams were not done routinely until a woman is 40, and formerly that, they're only preformed if there's a make happen for concern.

I never went for a gynecological exam when I be a virgin, so perhaps there's something I don't know, but I've never hear that before.
A gynecologist is concerned next to the female genital bits... not the rectum or anus or doesn`t matter what. So whatever those nation are saying... its complete bull! A rectal exam will customarily involve you lying on your side with your legs bent and one or two fingers person inserted into your bum to feel everythings commonplace. It will be abit uncomfortable but zilch too bad. A gynecologist can still check out your vagina etc even if you are a virgin. It will typically involve you lying spread-legged on a bed.
Don't be embarrased they've seen alot of it in the past. I dont understand what you expect.

There is no reason to supply you a rectal exam. Gynocologists dont preform that procedure. Proctologists are the only doctors that will hand over you a rectal exam. If you go to the gynocologist they will donate you a pelvic exam regardless of whether you are a virgin or not.
I have never hear of this either, sounds silly to me. i never hear of that and would ask Dr,,, are you getting a exam to ,,, maybe they do ,, but ask Dr question its your body, and they should tell you everything that ably be taking place, and you can stay away from anything you don't want do be done,,, i know that they will ask you to take the pvd shot ,they start giving that to girls 11 or elder, well good-luck tomorrow, and remember ask press, and if you don't feel comfortable ask for another personage that explains things better to you,
No, they do not have to be in motion in your anus. If he try's to travel in your anus don't permit him. lol You don't have to shift to the gyno if your a virgin unless you think you hold a yeast or bacterial infection. Some gyns do perform a recto-vaginal exam, it's incredibly common. I've have gyns that do, and others who don't.
Virginity, though, has nought to do with it.
