Maybe they can't afford to have the test. If they're drinking they're probably lower educated and probably can't afford to run time off work to come surrounded by and get it done. If sex training in college wasn't abstinence orient, the need for such test may decrease.

i agree because it would prevent more FAS cases and get more women into treatment for a vigorous babyI sort of agree. If the woman and her family can say-so that she doesnt drink then they should believe her but they could be lying. So i guess I should agree. Maybe close to once a month or once a trimester.

I totally agree. An ex boyfriend of mine get into a relationship after we broke up and his girlfriend became pregnant. He would other see her at the bar drinking, at home smoking weed and what not. I call Children Services and they said there is NOTHING they can do. She is over 21 so she is a endorsed adult. If this persist after the baby is born, next they can step in. It's disheartened that they cannot test pregnant mothers-to-be because they can be hurting and even bloodbath their baby. I know funding cannot provide carrying out tests for every pregnant woman in America, but those who do own a problem and need this give a hand should be able to grasp it, for they are hurting someone other than themselves.
